“Exhibition on Genres of Novels” Book exhibition is organized for five days in the Reading Room with initiation of Library Advisory Committee members. Mrs. Latha Maheshwari, Principal Canara Pre-University College was the guest. She explained the benefit of this exhibition with examples. She also said book exhibitions are quite educative they provide best display of Library collection and also will come as a whiff of fresh breeze. Dr. Premalatha V. Principal of the College presided over the programme. The purpose of having Readers club in the library was appreciated by our Principal.
Meanwhile, Book Nest was inaugurated by the Guest. The strategy of this nest is to exchange the books among the readers of all age groups. Library Advisory Committee Student representatives and Readers club members took the initiation to this programme.
All-important special collection was on one platform. Nearly 400 students benefitted from this exhibition. PUC students also were the visitors. It was a happy hunting ground for those who are on the lookout for some particular book of their choice. Reader’s club membership increased
