Terahertz 2022- A Science and IT Fest was jointly organized by the Science & IT Associations of our college on January 11, 2022 at 9:00 AM with the theme “Quest for Excellence”.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Vignesh Mallya, Service Delivery Manager, CBO, Tata Consultancy Services and Alumnus (Batch 2006-2009) inaugurated Terahertz 2022. In his address, he said “Students should make the best use of the opportunities provided in the college as it helps them in their all-round development”. He also reminded the students forever cherish the teachers who have shaped their lives.
Dr. Premalatha V, Principal, in her presidential address appreciated the conveners for organizing the event and wished both the participants and organizers the best.
Mrs. Prathima V Baliga, IT Convener introduced Terahertz and the events in the fest. Terahertz 2022 had 8 events namely, Obtuse Blingers (Combination Event), Amedha (Best IT Manager Event), LogiC++ (Coding Event), Pillar of Strength(Communication Skills Event), Physion (Physics Event), Just ∫du it (Maths Event), Chemica (Chemistry Event) and Bionica (Biology Event). Altogether 72 students took part in these events. A preliminary round was conducted for four events on the previous day.
After the inaugural function, various events were conducted in the Labs and Classrooms. Prizes were distributed by the Terahertz 2022 conveners at the end of the programme.
Ms. Deekshitha Prabhu and Ms. Vaishnavi Kamath of I BCA rendered the invocation. Ms. Divya Hiremath, Student Convener, Science Association welcomed the guests & the gathering. Mr. Deepak Shreevathsa M, Student Convener, IT Association proposed the Vote of Thanks. Ms. Vikitha V, Student Convener, Science Association compered the programme. Staff conveners, Mrs. Shailaja Kumari, Mrs. Pushpanjali S, Mrs. Poornima, Program heads and faculty members were present. Altogether 72 students participated in the programme.
