A special talk on “Guidelines for Project and Research Work” was organized on January 13, 2022, in our college seminar hall. Master of Ceremony for the program was Vikitha of III PMC. The program began with a prayer song sung by Anushree of III PMC. The welcome speech was delivered by V Dheeraj Shenoy, Student Convenor of CASST. Dr. Asha Kiran Pakkala, Staff Convener of CASST gave a brief insight into CASST.
Later on, with the lighting of the lamp, the program was formally inaugurated by the resource person, Dr. T. P. M. Pakkala. This was followed by an informative talk by Dr. T. P. M. Pakkala on the topic “Guidelines for Project & Research Work”. He started off by stressing on the need for project works, and the reason behind creating awareness among students about it, and how this will be helpful to the students in building their better career prospects. Next, he presented the anatomy of project reports, the various sections that make up a project report, and then listed few topics, which can be taken up as project work by the students. The talk concluded with an interaction session, wherein the queries of the students and faculty members were answered.
Dr. Premalatha V, Principal, Canara College, gave her presidential address. It was followed by the vote of thanks by Vikesh, Student Convenor of CASST. A memento was presented to the resource person as a token of love and appreciation. Finally, the programme was winded up with the singing of the National Anthem. 74 students were present for the programme.
