The Department of Commerce and Management in association with MUCTA organized a national webinar on “Investment During Present Time” on March 04, 2022 through Google Meet platform. The speaker of the session was Mr. Naveen Julian Rego, Certified Financial Planner. In his address, he briefed about the importance and objectives of the programme. He also spoke about the time value of money, compound interest, simple interest, and personal money management. In his insightful session, he also explained concepts like real rate of return, inflation, debt, equity and various personal investment avenues. There were 68 participants in this webinar.
It was an interactive session with many participants being clarified with doubts which made the entire webinar interesting. The participants expressed their sincere gratitude during the feedback stating that the complex contents were demonstrated to them in a very simple and useful way.This programme aimed at achieving the NAAC core values of ‘inclusive development’ and ‘fostering global competency’.
