Aavishkaar 2022- Cooking Without Fire

Cooking is an observation-based process that you can’t do if you’re absent minded. To bring out the innovation and creativity of the students, Cooking without fire competition was organized by Fine Arts association on June 01, 2022 at Canara College premises on the eve of annual day celebration. A total of 46 teams, each team consisting of 3 members participated in this competition from all the streams. The competitors came up with variety of delicious dishes and creative presentation.

The competition was judged by Mrs Vinoda Nayak, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce & Management, Canara College, Mrs Vijetha Bhat, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Canara College and Mr Rohith Kumar, Officer at MRPL. The event was judged on the criterias such as taste, creativity and neatness. Varshini k, Deepa Shetty, kavana from III BCA won first place, Payal, Sameeeksha, Asmitha from I B.Com won II place and Sameeksha R Kamath, Sonali and Twinkle from III B.Com won third place in this event. All the participants were well appreciated by the judges for their wonderful dishes

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of our Principal, teaching and Non- teaching staff and the students. Mrs. Jayashree Shetty, Convener of the association, Ms. Meghna Ramesha Hosdurg, Coordinator of the activity, Mrs. Keerthi Alva, Mr. Manohar Acharya, Mrs. Soujanya D, and Mrs. Kavitha Ganesh Co-convenors of the association coordinated in this activity. This activity strived to achieve the core values of contributing to National Development, quest for excellence and inculcating value system.
