“Music binds our soul, heart and emotions. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart.” To bring out the singing talents of students, Music day was held on June 9, 2022 at College premises. A total of 70 students of our college put forth their enthralling performance. The participants sang the songs with confidence and passion. There were total six categories which included Folk song group, Bhavageetha solo, Eastern duet and solo, Western group and solo. The competitors sang variety of songs. They came up with such melodious voices which attracted the audiences.
The competition was judged by the talented musicians Mr.Guru Prasad Rao, Senior Manager, Axis bank, Bangalore and Mrs. Rachana T., Music teacher, Canara high school, Mangalore. All the participants were well appreciated by the judges. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of our Principal, teaching and Non- teaching staff and the students.
Mrs. Jayashree Shetty, Convener of the association and Mrs.Keerthi Alva, Coordinator of the activity, Mr. Manohar Acharya, Mrs. Soujanya D, Ms Meghana Ramesh and Mrs. Kavitha Ganesh Co-convenors coordinated this activity.
