Flowers are the gift of nature. To display the beauty of this nature’s gift flower arrangement competition was organized by Fine Arts Association on June11, 2022 on the eve of annual day celebration. This activity mainly aimed to provide a platform to students to exhibit their talent and creativity. 22 students from different programs enthusiastically participated in this competition. There were two members in a team. A large number of flowers arranged by the students were appealing to the eyes and their skill was commendable.
Ms Madhushree, Head, Department of Botany and Mrs Laveena Sunitha Norohna Asst. Professor, Dept of Commerce were the judges. This event was judged based on the following criterias:
1) Arrangement of flowers
2) Neatness
3) Creativity
Ms.Aparna shenoy and Ms. Archana Prabhu from III B.Com won first place, Ms Sanjana and Ms Nikitha from I B.Com won second prize in the competition for their best arrangement which captured the eyes of judges
Mrs Jayashree Shetty, Convener of the association, Mrs Keerthi Alva, Mrs Soujanya D, Mrs Kavitha Ganesh, Mr. Manohar Acharya and Ms Meghana Ramesh Co-convenors coordinated the activity.
