Celebrating the Golden Jubilee year of Canara College, Tulu Sangha and English Association jointly organized a beach cleaning drive at Panambur Beach. The Students picked up the non–biodegradable waste that was found on the beach and disposed of it appropriately. The activity was held to create a sense of responsibility and consciousness among the students on appropriate disposal of waste and its effect on our ecosystem. 11 students from Tulu Sangha and 6 students from English Association participated in the drive. Convener of Tulu Sangha Association Mrs. Savitha D K ,Convener of English Association Mrs.Rithika Das along with Mrs. Vishwathmika, Lecturer, Department of English, coordinated the drive.
