A Seminar on “Career Opportunities in Banking and Entrepreneurship” was organized by Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Career Guidance Cell in association with UNDP-Project Code Unnati on October 21, 2022 from 10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. The Program targeted to provide knowledge and guidance on opportunities to undergraduate students to expand their dexterities in various significant facets involved in building career opportunities in banking, entrepreneurship and innovation. The resource person, Mr. Ravi Kumar, Senior Manager, Canara Bank, Regional Office, Mangaluru elucidated on how to be an entrepreneur focusing on core areas of the business building like the relationship between Innovation & Entrepreneurship, functions of an entrepreneur, barriers to entrepreneurship and qualities of an entrepreneur. He also briefed on the funding aspects relating to new startups. 64 students participated and benefitted from this session. The programme was coordinated by Mrs Anasuya Bhagvath, Convener of Career Guidance Cell, Mrs Vinoda V Nayak and Ms Priyanka, Conveners of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
