To enhance the Skills, environmental awareness, spirit of entrepreneurship, Cultural Appreciation among the volunteers, NSS Units of our college organized a training programme ( Entrepreneurship Development Programme) on October 29, 2022 at Govinathotha, Bantwal.
The staff at Surabhi Gomandira, Govinthotha, Bantwal trained NSS Volunteers on how to produce agarbatti (incense sticks), different molds, and earrings out of cow dung. Cow dung has garnered more attention recently as a sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing resource. As they degrade naturally and do not affect the environment, these items created from cow dung are regarded as eco-friendly. In addition, they provide a sustainable method of utilizing cow dung, a byproduct of dairy production and other livestock sectors. Overall, the manufacture of products from cow dung can provide a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to existing manufacturing techniques, as well as aid rural areas by creating new industries and job possibilities.
The 86 NSS Volunteers and the Program Officers cleaned the area after the training and assisted the locals in decorating the stage.
