The Library Orientation programme was conducted for newly admitted undergraduate students from October 15, 2022 to November 03, 2022. It aimed at familiarizing the environment of the Library to the freshers.
Freshers from all streams (Science, Commerce and Computer Application) attended the orientation programme. The students were introduced to the Library Staff, they were given information on its functionality and procedures which must be followed.
The Librarian briefed the Rules, Services and activities of the Library through Power point presentation. This activity strived to achieve the core values of contributing to National Development, Fostering Global Competency, Promoting use of Technology, Quest for Excellence and inculcating a value system. A total of 555 students benefited from this programme.
