The Department of Computer Science and Applications offered certificate courses in MS Office, Android and Web Design through EXCEL IT for all the students of the college. On account of “World Computer Literacy Day”, this programme was inaugurated by Mr. Dominic Rosario, Senior Director (Engineering), Glowtouch Technologies(Diya System), on December 2, 2022. In his inaugural speech he elaborated on the manual documenting work being gradually replaced by digitalization. He also pointed out that each student has to be well versed in digital and communication skills and these kinds of certificate courses are needed to help them to improve their digital skills to some extent.
Dr. Premalatha V, Principal, presided over the function. She conveyed her best wishes to the organizers and informed the students to grab such opportunities.
Mrs. Jayabharathi K.P., Head, Department of Computer Science and Applications introduced the Chief Guest and gave an insight about EXCEL IT. Mrs. Babitha Shetty, Convenor of EXCEL IT welcomed the gathering, Ms. Suvidha Shetty of III BSc compered the inaugural programme and Mr. Sanketh Bhat of III BCA proposed the vote of thanks. Faculty of Computer Science and Applications and course aspirants were present for the programme. Altogether 50 Students participated in this Programme.
