To get a conceptual understanding and develop scientific experimentation skills, the Department of Chemistry made final BSc students visit some remote schools in and around Mangalore and Kasargod as an extension activity. The programme was organized from December 15, 2022 to December 30, 2022. The activity ‘Catch them Young’ gave an opportunity for our students to demonstrate different experiments to school students. Through this activity, students enriched their knowledge and encouraged high school students to develop an interest in basic science studies. This activity helped the students build laboratory skills that make them employable.
