The IPR Cell of the college organized a Seminar on Significance of Trade Mark in Intellectual Property Rights on January 20,2023. Mrs Shubhalakshmi, Assistant Professor in Law, SDM Law College Mangaluru, educated the students on the significance of Trade Mark in Intellectual Property Rights. The knowledge of IPR is very essential for undergraduate students. In her lecture she spoke about the fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights and highlighted the meaning of Trade Mark and explained it through apt examples. Video Clips were shown on the topic Trade Mark. Overall the students found the seminar beneficial. The speaker responded to the queries of the students. 70 students actively took part in the programme.
