An add-on course on Personality Development and Communication Skills offered by the Centre for Postgraduate Studies in Commerce to the M Com students was inaugurated on February 10, 2023. Sri CA M. Jagannath Kamath, Correspondent of the College, inaugurated the program. Speaking on this occasion, he urged the students to take full advantage of these types of add-on courses because, in today’s competitive world, communication is the key to success in life.
The Chief Guest of the programme CA M. Narasimha Pai, trainer and owner of MN Pai Associates, highlighted the importance of personality development and communication while facing the interview. The programme was followed by a training session for the students by Mrs. Naredita Mirajkar, a Soft Skills Trainer, who covered topics related to how to have better communication, use body language while facing the interview, etc.
The programme was designed to help students develop skills that will help them succeed in their personal and professional lives. The course helped students improve their communication skills, build their confidence, and develop their personal brand.
40 students took active part in the session. Principal Dr. Premalatha V., PG Coordinator Mrs. Swathi Nayak, and the PG faculty were present on the occasion. Ms. Akshaya compered the programme, Mr. Vishal welcomed the gathering and Ms. Ganvi Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
