The leadership training programme was organized by the Student Welfare Association of Canara College, Mangalore on April 03, 2023, in the seminar hall. It was conducted to provide leadership training to all the members of the Student Welfare Council. Mr.Mithun Bhat Kakunje, Entrepreneur and Mrs. Nanditha, Assistant Professor, NSNM, Mangalore were the resource persons. All the class representatives and office bearers of various associations took part in this programme.
Miss.Sheethal pai, Vice President compered the programme. Mr. Amogh Baliga, secretary introduced the Resource Person to the gathering.
This training helped the students in developing critical thinking skills. Various activities were conducted by the resource person for the students to understand and be able to use a process of decision-making. This programme helped the students in developing the vital skills that a leader should have to become more effective.
A leader is a person, who always leads his team and achieves the target. Around 50 participated in this workshop. This program has strived to inculcate the core values such as fostering global competencies among students, inculcating value systems among students and Quest for excellence.
