The Department of Zoology organized a Webinar on ‘Guidance for Academic Projects and Training in Life Sciences’ on April 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Seminar Hall. The esteemed speakers for the event were Mr. Bibin K, PRO & Marketing Head, and Ms. Dhanya Ramachandran, Academic Coordinator cum Senior Microbiologist, from PVT Merit Biolabs, Cochin.
During the webinar, the speakers provided detailed information about academic projects related to life sciences courses, as well as training opportunities in life science, HACCP & QA/QC training programs, food and water testing, and consultancy services in lab settings. They also discussed ISO certifications and industrial plant settings for startups, along with grants and other support.
The training schedule outlined by the speakers includes hands-on experimentation in laboratory work, relevant bioinstrumentation operation, seminars, data analysis, data presentation, and many more enriching activities.
An enthusiastic group of 25 students actively participated in this informative webinar, gaining valuable insights from the industry experts.
This session contributed to National Development, Inculcating value system amongst the students and Quest for Excellence.
