Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, was one of the architects of our Indian Constitution. He was a well-known political leader, Buddhist activist, anthropologist, orator, great philosopher, eminent jurist, writer, economist, scholar and editor. He was born on April 14, 1891 in Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Ambedkar fought for the eradication of social evils like untouchability and for the rights of the Dalits and other socially backward classes, throughout his life.
On account of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s Jayanthi, Hindi Sangh of our College organized an activity to pay tribute to this noble soul. The students enthusiastically participated in this activity. Some students drew a pencil sketch of Babasaheb Ambedkar, while others spoke about his life history, his achievements, and also about his invaluable contribution to the nation and humanity. 15 students benefited from this activity. This activity was held on April 27, 2023 in Room No. 18 from 1.10 p.m to 2.10 p. m. Ms. Jyothika of II B.sc delivered the welcome speech and Ms. Nanditha Shenoy proposed the vote of thanks.
