In celebration of World Environment Day 2023, the Youth Red Cross unit of our college, guided by Mrs. Smitha M. and Mrs. Roopashri K. P., took part in a sapling planting initiative at their respective houses on June 5, 2023. 15 students enthusiastically participated in this activity, planting saplings in their surroundings and taking up the responsibility of nurturing them. Through this initiative, the students gained a deeper understanding of environmental responsibilities and the adverse effects of pollution and deforestation. The student volunteers found great joy in planting and caring for the saplings.
