Displaying strong leadership communication skills can enhance trust, boost motivation, and maximize team productivity. With this objective, the Youth Red Cross unit of our college arranged an interactive session on “Leadership and Communication Skills” on June 7, 2023, specifically for YRC volunteers. Ms. Monisha Shetty, Assistant Professor at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, served as the resource person. During her talk, she emphasized how leadership communication skills create meaningful connections among team members, fostering a strong sense of community. Through various activities, she highlighted the significance of these skills and provided practical ways to improve them, demonstrating how effective communication can be showcased in a leadership role. 79 students actively participated in the session, gaining valuable knowledge. They expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the organizers, including the resource person and the program officers, for conducting such a valuable session.
