The study visit to MRPL involved 15 students and was organized by Dr. Asha Kiran Pakkala and Mrs. Rajyalaxmi CH on June 17,2023 . Upon your arrival at MRPL, the company’s representatives provided you with a brief introduction to the organization and its various activities. The visit included a guided tour of the refinery. During this tour, you had the opportunity to observe different processing units, such as crude distillation, catalytic cracking, hydrocracking, and desulfurization. MRPL’s representatives explained how each unit functions and emphasized the importance of safety protocols and quality control measures.MRPL’s strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship was evident throughout your visit. We were able to witness the rigorous safety protocols, which included the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fire safety systems, and emergency response mechanisms. Additionally, you learned about MRPL’s initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, minimize waste generation, and conserve natural resources.
