The meeting commenced with a prayer led by Mrs. Rakshitha, a faculty member of the department. Mrs. Babitha S. extended a warm welcome to the newly joined students of the 23rd Batch, embracing them as members of the BCA family, and introduced the faculty members. She also provided information regarding the admission process, fee payments, and examination enrollment in the UUCMS portal, and introduced the NEP system.
Mrs. Jayabharathi, Head of the department, expressed gratitude and went on to elaborate on the objectives and outcomes of the program. She discussed the syllabus pattern, both college and departmental rules, the role of mentors, teaching-learning methodologies, as well as the extra-curricular and co-curricular programs offered in the college. She also highlighted the library and laboratory facilities and emphasized the attendance policies.
