An inter-class Commerce and Management Fest EXEMPLAR-2023 was organized by the Commerce and Management Association for the first year students of all the streams on September 30, 2023. The inauguration of the same was held at 9.30 AM by the Chief Guest, Mr. Mithun Bhat Kankunje, Director, Kankunje Group of Industries. Mr. Bhat began his address by recalling the opportunity he had during his college days. He added that opportunities are crucial in shaping an individual’s personal and professional growth. He suggested that students make the best use of the opportunities available. Prof. Dejamma A., HOD, Commerce and Management Department, stated that students may only thrive in the future if they cultivate optimistic and creative attitudes. Additionally, she said social media provides a lot of information, but it is up to the user to choose what is good and what is bad. She also appreciated the organizers for their efforts and wished well to the participants.
Dr. Premalatha V., Principal of the college, stressed in her presidential remarks that students will be deputed to different inter-collegiate fests and so this type of fests within the college would be more helpful to them. She concluded her words by advising the students to uphold the reputation of the institution. The staff conveners, Mrs. Usha Nayak and Mrs. Ashalatha, were present in the programme.
Ms. Sindoora B of II B.Com B compered the programme, student coordinator Mr. Harshith welcomed the gathering, Ms. Trupthi N. Vyas briefed about EXEMPLAR -2023. Mr. Tushar rendered the vote of thanks. The Fest witnessed 13 registrations by 108 students from all the streams. The events included Best Manager, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Public Relation, Photography, and Business Quiz to challenge the students. All these events, combined with education and fun, explored the professional and personal excellence of our students.
All these events functioned smoothly and were adjudged by our own esteemed faculty members, professionals, and alumnus. The valedictory programme of the EXEMPLAR 2023 was held at 4.30 PM. Prof. Dejamma A., HOD, Commerce and Management Department, motivated the gathering through her inspirational message by quoting some exemplary instances of being successful in life. Students then shared their feedback about the fest. Student Coordinators Ms. Thrupthi N. Vyas and Mr. Harshith announced the winners of various events, and they were honored with trophies and certificates. A total of 167 students benefitted from this fest.
