An awareness programme and orientation on Entrepreneurship was organized by Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Canara College, Mangaluru on October 17, 2023.The resource person, Mr. Srikanth, District Community Mobilizer and EDP Trainer, Seventh Sense People Solutions Pvt Ltd, opined that there is a need to create entrepreneurs instead of job seekers. He also threw light on the initiatives taken up by the government for startups and small businesses. He also spoke about nurturing the small seeds of entrepreneurship within oneself to achieve greater heights in their journey ahead. He focused on creating a sense of awareness among students about the broad spectrum of opportunities that lie in the area of entrepreneurship. The session was well received by the students. A Total of 179 students were benefitted from this awareness programme.

This programme fosters global competency and satisfies quest for excellence. The programme was coordinated by Mrs.Vinoda V Nayak and Mrs. Priyanka, the conveners of the cell.
