To provide educational exhibits and demonstrations that highlighted the chemical properties of vegetables, engaging participants and spectators in hands-on learning experiences, the Chem-Veg Art competition was conducted on October 20, 2023, by the Department of Chemistry under the guidance of Mrs. Roopashri K. P. and Mrs. Soujanya D. Faculty members of the Chemistry Department for I BSc students was a resounding success, bringing together participants to showcase their creativity and teamwork, and highlight the chemistry behind vegetables. 18 students took part in this competition and prepared a model of the various concepts of chemistry.
The winners of the Chem-Veg-Art Competition were selected based on their exceptional artwork and alignment with the competition’s objectives, Neatness and the Concepts of Chemistry, by Mrs. Jayabharathi K. P., H.O.D. of Computer Science and Application, Mrs. Pushpanjali, Assistant Prof. in Zoology, and Ms. Madhushree, H.O.D. of Botany. The results of the competition were announced on October 25, 2023.
