The Department of Chemistry organised a fun science quiz for BSc and BCA students on November 8 and 9, 2023, to help them learn more about chemistry. Mr. Narasimha and Mr. Vidhyabhushan led the organizing team. The quiz had two parts, each focusing on different parts of chemistry. They made questions to cover important ideas, theories, and how they’re used in basic science. In the first round, 76 students in 38 teams answered multiple-choice questions about fundamental concepts. Six teams made it to the final round based on their scores. The final round had more challenging questions presented through slides and recordings to make it interesting. Faculty members from the Chemistry Department made sure everything was fair and scored accurately. They judged how fast and correct the answers were. After a tough competition, the winners were announced based on all their scores together. This not only celebrated the winners but also encouraged everyone to do well in their studies.
