The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Canara College, Mangalore, organized a special session to celebrate “Women’s Entrepreneurship Day” on November 18, 2023, at CLOSET, The Boutique Store, Mangalore. The resource person Mrs. Priyanka, proprietor of CLOSET, was honored and felicitated for her contribution to the business world. She pointed out the challenges that women entrepreneurs face-initial finance, market penetration, and regulations from the government.
Her word of advice for the young budding entrepreneurs was that every adversity has a hidden opportunity.
The session was well received by the students. 12 students benefitted from this programme. The session was coordinated by Mrs.Vinoda V. Nayak and Mrs. Priyanka, the conveners of the Cell.
