The Human Rights cell of our college has organized an awareness programme on December 01, 2023 about “Constitutional Day”, the Day on which Constitution was adopted by constituent assembly on November 26, 1949. B. Nanda Kishore, advocate, Mangalore was the resource person who addressed the students about the contribution made by the local Constitutional experts and the Nature of the constitution such as Fundamental Rights, Fundamental Duties, Directive Principles of State Policies etc. In addition to this, he also spoke about the problems such as Article 370 of Jammu and Kashmir. Also, relevance of article 44 of the constitution.
The function was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Premalatha V. and Dr. Ganesh Shetty welcomed the gathering and concluded the programme. Mr. Sourav Salian compered the programme. A total of 100 students has participated in this programme.
