The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Canara College, Mangalore organized a workshop on “The Idea Experiment” on April 12, 2024. The resource person, Ms. Mahalaxmi Bhat, a successful women entrepreneur, and alumna, shared her entrepreneurial journey and insights. This workshop provided students with a unique opportunity to discuss and explore innovative ideas. As part of the program, an Idea Generation activity was conducted, encouraging students to brainstorm and present new product ideas and concepts. This activity aimed to spark creativity and foster entrepreneurial thinking among the participants.
This workshop played a significant role in helping the participants bring forth new ideologies and improve their presentation and leadership skills. It was instrumental in encouraging our students to explore their entrepreneurial spirit and enhance their creativity. By the end of the event, students were highly motivated to pursue knowledge in the areas of startups and entrepreneurship with new enthusiasm. The workshop successfully instilled a sense of innovation and inspired students to think creatively. The participants responded very positively, expressing satisfaction and excitement with this enriching experience.
The session was well-received by the 88 students who participated. The session was coordinated by Mrs.Vinoda V Nayak and Mrs. Priyanka, the conveners of the Cell.
