The Centre for PG Studies in Commerce organized a session on ‘Envisioning Your Future’ by Mr. Subhas Bangera on June 5, 2024, for the B.Com students of Canara College.
The aim of this session was to guide students in visualizing their future goals, understanding the steps required to achieve them. The session also aimed to highlight the significance of obtaining a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree, its benefits, and the various career opportunities it can open up.
The session began with a brief introduction by the facilitator, outlining the purpose of the session and providing an overview of what an M.Com degree entails. Mr.Subhas Bangera explained that the M.Com degree is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge in commerce, accounting, finance, taxation, and business management. The facilitator highlighted the diverse career paths available to M.Com graduates. In this segment, the facilitator discussed the wide range of career opportunities available to M.Com graduates across different sectors.
47 students from the B.Com department participated in the program. The event was hosted by Mrs. Sneha Pai M. Lecturer, Centre for PG Studies in Commerce.
