A Konkani variety programme was organized by Konkani Bhasha Vidyarthi Mandal of College in association with Konkani Adhyayana Peeta, University College, Mangaluru which was broadcasted in the Yuva Vani Kalasanje of All India Radio Mangaluru on June 23, 2024 at 5.30 p.m. Students presented a Vocal Skit entitled “ Amgele Malgade Amgele Maanu” which was scripted by Mrs. Sujatha G. Nayak, Convenor, Konkani Bhasha Vidyarthi Mandal. Relevant to the plot of the skit a group of students sung a song penned by Bolanthoor Krishna Prabhu. This song was originally included in a famous drama entitled “ Chandrahasa ”; Through the conclusion of the skit, students emphasized the importance of parents in one`s life. The moral of this skit is that parents are a boon to our lives rather than a burden. Apart from the skit , two Konkani poems were composed and recited by our KBVM student. Total eight students enthusiastically participated in the radio programme. The names of those students are as follows:-
