On the eve of the 78th Independence Day, the NSS volunteers of Canara College participated in Tiranga Rally on August 15, 2024. The rally led by Captain Brijesh Chowta started at 3:30 P.M. from Karavali Utsav Ground, Mangaluru and concluded at Govinda Pai Circle. 20 NSS Volunteers of Canara College, along with their NSS Programme Officer, Mrs. M. Keerthana Bhat, actively participated in this rally.
Tiranga Rally was organized with the objective of celebrating our Tricolour and the spirit of Independence Day. Our Independence Day is a tribute to the countless freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the cause of our nation. Their sacrifices are the bedrock on which our country stands today, and it is their spirit that inspires us to keep pushing forward, striving for excellence, and upholding the values of democracy and justice.
