A Capacity Building Program on the topic “AI Unveiled: Exploring Concepts, Tools and Real-World Impact” was organized by Department of Business Administration for III BBA students in Lecture Hall No 7 on Monday, October 7, 2024. The resource person was Mrs. Prathima V Baliga, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Applications, Canara College, Mangalore. The primary goal of this program was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence, its applications, and its impact on today’s competitive world.
The program commences with the Introduction of AI, covering its history, key principles, fundamental Concepts, its advantages and disadvantages. She also touched upon various types of AI, concept of Machine Learning. She discussed the various AI tools available for students especially ChatGPT and Gemini.
In conclusion, the program seeks to empower the students with knowledge that transcends theoretical understanding, encouraging them to actively contribute to the responsible and innovative advancement of AI. The program was concluded by Vote of Thanks by Mr. Vedanth Nayak, Student of III BBA. Feedback was collected at the end of the session which was followed by a small quiz. Total 39 students participated in this program. Mrs. Laxmi Hegde, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Business Administration coordinated in the smooth conduct of this program.
