Department of Hindi, in association with Bank of Baroda and Mangalore University Hindi Adhyapak Sangh (MUHAS) cconducted a resourceful One Day Workshop for all Hindi language Lecturers, teaching under Mangalore University on October 15, 2024 in the Seminar Hall. The event was inaugurated by Sri Ashwini Kumar, Deputy General Manager, Bank of Baroda who addressed the gathering on how the Hindi Language has played an important role in delivering and understanding values. He also elaborated on how the language has a scientific outline which in-turn benefits and influences the future of students across the country. The president of the programme, C.A Jagannath Kamath , opined that Hindi language builds a bonding between various countries. Hindi Language is one of the prominent language which unites the with world’s eminent languages. The event was presided by Dr. Premlatha V, Principal, Canara College Mangaluru and Dr. Kalpana Prabhu J, President, MUHAS, was the host of the Workshop. Smt Sujatha Nayak was the Master of Ceremony and Smt Namitha K. delivered the vote of thanks.
There was a Paper presentation session by teachers conducted on the topic, “ Shiksha Pathykram me Hindee kee bhoomika par Vichar Manthan”.A total of 75 lecturers working under Mangalore University participated in the workshop. The workshop acted as an active tool and guide to one and all present in order for them to inculcate deep knowledge of the academic syllabus.
