Drama is a vibrant art form that encompasses various elements, including dialogue delivery, stage presence, character coordination, and sound and lighting systems. It is a powerful medium for storytelling, self-expression, and cultural representation.
Konkani Bhasha Vidyarthi Mandal of our College organized a session on acting, titled “ Abhinay’’ on October 23, 2024, for the members of the Konkani Sangha. The event took place in Room No. 06, where all the members gathered to hear a session. The session aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of drama and enhance their acting skills.
Renowned Resource person Mr. Sridhar Prabhu shared valuable insights on essential aspects of drama :
● Effective dialogue delivery
● Confident stage entry
● Seamless character coordination
● Strategic sound and lighting systems
Mr. Sridhar Prabhu also brought the concepts to life by enacting scenes from Konkani dramas. The session not only educated students on the intricacies of drama but also inspired them to explore their creative potential. Ten students have actively participated in the session.
The Convenor of Konkani Bhasha Vidyarthi Mandal Mrs. Sujatha G. Nayak has delivered a welcome speech. Ms. Akshaya Kamath has delivered the vote of thanks.
A total of 11 students attended the orientation program, making it a successful and engaging gathering.
