The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Canara College, Mangalore organized a seminar on “Understanding the Dynamics of Entrepreneurship” on October 30, 2024 for the students of III B.Com A. Mr. Dawn Prakash, Asst. Professor, PG Department of Business Administration, SDMCBM, Mangalore was the resource person of the seminar. This seminar provided students with a unique opportunity to discuss and explore innovative ideas and emerging trends in entrepreneurship. As part of the program, an Idea Generation activity on “Future Plan” was conducted, encouraging students to brainstorm and present new business ideas and concepts. This activity aimed to spark creativity and foster entrepreneurial thinking among the participants.
This seminar played a significant role in understanding the importance of resilience and adaptability in entrepreneurship journeys and also to develop various strategies for bootstrapping and securing funding apart from that to also understand the role of mentorship and networking in business growth. It was instrumental in encouraging our students to explore their entrepreneurial spirit and enhance their creativity. By the end of the event, students were highly motivated to pursue knowledge in the areas of startups and entrepreneurship with new enthusiasm. In total 51 students participated in the seminar.
