On account of National Consumer Day, the Consumer Forum of Canara College organized a quiz competition on December 02, 2024, from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm to promote awareness about consumer rights and responsibilities. The quiz consisted of 50 multiple-choice questions. Questions focused on topics such as the Consumer Protection Act, food safety, legal metrology, and online shopping security. The event aimed to engage students in understanding consumer-related issues, laws, and practices interactively and educationally. This event was coordinated by Mrs. Lavina S. Noronha, Convener of the Consumer Forum, along with student coordinators Prateeksha and Veena. Twenty teams, each consisting of two members, participated in the quiz competition.
The event strived to achieve the core values of Contribution to National Development and Inculcating a Value System among all.
