The Centre for PG Studies in Commerce organized a visit to the head office of CAMPCO Cooperative Society, located on Mission Street, near State Bank of India, Mangaluru.
The General Manager of CAMPCO warmly welcomed the students and commended the initiative of visiting the head office to gain insights into the financial aspects of the cooperative. The session commenced with a briefing by Mrs. Ramya, HR of CAMPCO, who provided an overview of the organization, its products, and management structure. Subsequently, CA Poornima Kamath, the internal chartered accountant of CAMPCO, delved into the balance sheet, share allocation system among members, types of membership, and vendor relationships. The interactive session allowed the 13 M.Com final year students specializing in finance to inquire about the workings of CAMPCO and receive comprehensive answers.
This visit aligned with the core value of “Eliciting Quest for Excellence as a Permanent Commitment.” The event was coordinated by Mrs. Swathi Nayak, PG Coordinator, along with Mr. Abhilash, a final year M.Com student, who served as the student in charge.
