An Educational initiative was organized by IT Association conducted an Extension Activity on “The AI in Everyday Life” session on January 23, 2025, at Chaitanya Public School, Surathkal, Mangaluru, at 10.30 a.m. by IT Association students.
The session commenced with a welcome address by Sajan, setting the tone for the event and highlighting the significance of AI in today’s world.
Following this, Karthika, Varsha, and Shreya Shenoy conducted the main session, where they explained the practical applications of AI in various sectors such as healthcare, education, transportation, and entertainment. The team explained how AI-powered technologies like virtual assistants, smart home devices, recommendation systems, and autonomous vehicles are transforming daily life.
To make the session more engaging, Nityanand and Likith Kumar conducted an AI-related quiz, allowing students to test their knowledge and think critically about AI’s role in the modern world. Through this interactive approach, students were encouraged to analyse both the opportunities and challenges AI presents.
At the end of the session, Mrs. Shashikala, The Headmistress of Chaitanya Public School expressed her appreciation for the team’s efforts in simplifying complex AI concepts for young learners. She commended the initiative for sparking curiosity among students and encouraging them to explore the evolving world of technology.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Manasvi, who expressed gratitude to the school administration, faculty, and students for their enthusiastic participation.Total 6 students were actively participated in this program.
