A Workshop on Resume Writing and Interview Skillswas organized for the students of Management Association on March 22, 2017. Prof. Deeksha Shetty and Prof. Vinay Krishna, Faculty, Dept. of Business Management, MSNM Besant Institute of PG Studies were the resource persons. The session commenced with the introduction to Resume, Importance of Building Resume and difference between Curriculum Vitae and Resume. In addition to this, different sections of a resume that one needs to format and types of format were discussed. Also, different stages of Interview viz; Screening, HR Round, Group Discussion and Panel Interview was explained in detail.They covered the various components of writing the resume and the do’s and don’ts of appearing for an interview.
This activity leads to quest for excellence. 33 students took part in this programme.
