The Kannada Association in association with Human Rights Cell and English Association of the college conducted a Seminar on `Report Writing’ on February 15, 2017 at Room No.01 .Mr.Venu Sharma, Freelancer ,Mangalore was the resource person and spoke about importance of report writing. In his lecture he said,” As we all know that media considered to be the fourth pillar in a democratic country and it maintains a balance between the other three pillars. News is more than just facts and information;it is information that effects us. A reporter should remain neutral and objective and the social responsibility of the reporter requires that he acts in accordance with his personal ethical standards.”Mrs. Vani U.S and Mrs.Thara Kumari, conveners of Kannada Association, Dr. Ganesh Shetty, Convener of Human Rights Cell and Mr. Pramod Kumar P.S ,convener of English Association were present during the occation. Ms. Supreetha welcomed the gathering and Ms.Ashwini Pai proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Prajwal compered the programme. 90 students participated in the programme.
