Four days of “Practical Training”was provided to the students of Consumer Forum by D.K. District Consumer Information Centre, Mangalore on December 27 and 28, 2017 and January 2and 3, 2018. .All the members of Consumer Forum participated in this practical training. Various resource persons from the forum, addressed the students on various topics like Right to Information Act, Food Adulteration, Legal Metrology and Medical Negligence etc. Students were taken to various places like Deputy Commissioner and District Legislate Office, ZillaPanchayat Office, D.K.District Court, Mangaluru City Corporation and D.K. District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum to give practical exposure to them. All the 23 students from Consumer Forum attended the training programme.
Practical training provided students an opportunity to visit various government offices and to interact with respective officials and to apply their acquired skills and knowledge in their real life
