A practical section was conducted to 40 members of Nature club on Vermicomposting on September 20, 2017. Students collected required materials like leaf litters, food waste, flowers, mud, pots, earthworms etc., for vermicomposting and followed pot culture technique. Students maintained the culture by checking aeration and moisture content of the culture. Students appreciated the technique as they investigated the method used were able to be transferred into their house surroundings and gardens.
