The finishing school programme provides training to the Commerce and Management students in various areas like office management, documents and registers, books and vouchers, books of accounts (computerized), office etiquettes, communication, interaction and presentation, business correspondence, practical banking, conducting meetings, legal obligations and compliance under income tax, e-filing, e-banking,demat account, C.V writing, interview, group discussion, grooming etc.
During the academic year 2017-18, 61 students enrolled for Finishing School Programme. Experts such as CA. Shravan, Ms. Vidya Shenoy, Prof. Manoj Louis, Prof. Anila Kamath, Ms. Niveditha Mirazkar, Dr. Rajashree S. Kini, Ms. Pavithra, Prof. Rithika Das, Ms. Preetham Kamath in the concerned field provided training to the scholars on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Students got a unique opportunity to obtain the correct balance between both theoretical studies and practical exposure. An improvement in the overall personality of the students be observed. By the end of the program, most of the students presented themselves more confidently and were able to express/ share their views openly.
