‘Simple Standard Sanskrit’aone day workshop, was organized on March 19,2018 at College seminar Hall. It was sponsored by Sanskrit Promotion Foundation, Delhi, ONGC-CSR and organized by Sanskrit Department, Canara college, Mangalore, in association with IQAC, & Kannada Department Canara college Mangalore.
Dr.H. R. Vishwasa director for training, Samskrita Bharati, highlighted the significance of programs related to Sanskrit. Dr. Sachin Kathale, sub-editor, Sambhashana Sandesha, Bangalore shared his views on teaching Simple Standard Sanskrit. Many Sanskrit teachers of Mangalore, Sanskrit Bharati volunteers and students attended the program.
On presidential remark Dr. K.V. Malini Principal Canara College stressed the need of programs like this and said Simple Standard Sanskrit will enhance teaching skills of teachers. 30 faculty members attended the program
