A seminar on “Right to Information Act 2005” was conducted for the members of Consumer Forum Association on September 11, 2019 in Commerce Lab at: 3.15 PM. The resource person Mrs. Vinoda V. Nayak Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce spoke on Right to Information, its need and application procedure to request for any information, time limit to obtain the information, what are the grounds for rejection to obtain the information. She highlighted on different RTI complaints filed by the common people and benefits of such complaints. She also informed the students to use RTI as a tool to empower themselves. 19 students of Consumer Forum Association along with the staff coordinators Mrs. Jayashree Shetty and Mrs. Ashalatha participated in this session.
