In the hustle and bustle of modern life, present day youths are blurred of their commitment towards the society. To infuse social responsibility among our students and to mingle with Divyanjans to realize and feel that they belong to the same social fabric with different abilities, the Student Welfare Mentors through the council had chalked out extension activities and programmes to be carried out at Chetana Child Development Centre, Mangaluru as one of the initiative under the MOU with them.
On a regular basis, the mentors took a group of students to Chetana Child Development Centre and were made to participate in the making of Paper Bags/Covers along with the inmates. This initiative was also taken to bring awareness among the students on non-monetary contributions to the society.
