Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy. Fantabulous ideas were demonstrated by students. They prepared very creative and innovative models waste materials. They used reusable material like plastic bottles. The values like preservation, recycling, conservation, reduce, reuse etc are absorbed on the young heart and minds by demonstrating this noble act of caring our environment. It helped the students to develop their fine motor skills while using different kinds of material and also encouraged them to use waste material for making decorative and useable items. It was amazing to see how scrap could be transformed into such useful and beautiful articles. The creativity and artistic streak of the children were observed.
Team Squadron consisting of 9 students executed the extension activity on Saturday August 31, 2019, which was conducted in the school ground from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm. The students organised the activity by planting saplings making use of old plastic bottles and further conducted team building activity known as ‘Catch’. This is a team-building game that not only is fun, but it also creates a median for teaching while also boosting the energy of all those involved. 09 students participated in this activity. Team Squadron was appreciated by the school Management and staffs. About 50 students, 3 staffs and principal of the college were benefited from this activity.
