Masks are distributed to the needy on May 29, 2020.As per the guidelines of Bharat Scout and Guide, Dakhshina Kannada District, Vivekananda Rover Unit and Kamadenu Ranger unit, Canara College, Mangaluru, amid the Corona virus outbreak prepared distributed masks among the underprivileged people at Prashant Nagar Layout,Derail on May 29,2020.
The units contributed food kits worth Rs. 3,000 to two families. Rovers and Rangers masks on their faces informed people about the danger of the Corona virus outbreak. They counselled the people and asked them to remain indoors, follow social distancing norms in every possible ways to fight against this calamity. To improve their immune system, students asked them to have nutritious food and drink hot water.
Mrs. Dhanyashree on behalf of the units distributed the masks Mr. Ashwil Karkera ,Rover scout leader supported and coordinated the event.
