Team building isn’t just for the corporate workplace. It can also be used in the classroom to encourage collaboration, problem-solving and decision-making.By accomplishing group tasks, students learn to listen, trust and support each other, while developing life skills such as communication and collaboration. Keeping this objective in mind, ‘Team building and Management Activities’ was conducted for the students of Commerce and Management Association on March 02, 2022 in Room No. 5.
The activities were conducted in order to strengthen the team work and coordination. Ms. Aarti Goad, Mr. Joyston, Mr Deepak, Ms. Deeksha Sharma took the responsibility of organizing the various activities like communication barrier activity, teamwork exercises. Total 48 students were present for this session.
Students learnt the importance of communicating in the right manner, their roles as a team member and how it affects the overall performance of the team. Overall, the students enjoyed the activities and were of the opinion that it had helped them understand the essence of teamwork. It also helped to boost the self-confidence and served to achieve the core values of fostering global competency and eliciting quest for excellence amongst the students. Mrs. Laxmi Hegde and Ms. Priyanka, Association faculty conveners directed and coordinated in the smooth conduct of the same.
